Hey star-gazers! This is your look-ahead forecast to May 16, 2023, when Jupiter moves out of Aries and into Taurus, where it will stay until May 25, 2024.

This post will give you a rundown of the high notes of Jupiter’s ingress, including major aspects to certain planets, followed by a mini-forecast for all rising signs (although you could certainly read for your Sun and Moon as well!). Let’s dive in.

Jupiter’s Ingress

Jupiter has been transiting through Aries since late December 2022 — a sign that it shares some affinity with by triplicity and, to a lesser degree, temperament.

Jupiter’s natural domiciles are fiery Sagittarius and cool-as-a-cucumber Pisces — these are signs in which Jupiter’s expansiveness can be on full display, whether it’s pursuing truth and wisdom, or seeking spiritual and emotional transcendence.

In Aries, the Greater Benefic has been focused on expanding certain aspects of our personal agenda, urging us to see a bigger, bolder future. And, of course, March’s conjunction with Vesta in Aries likely saw Jupiter amplify our burning desire to pursue passion projects.

In Taurus — a sign that’s associated with more concrete and grounded earth — expect some of Jupiter’s unbridled expansiveness to be wedded to practicality.

While we may want to double down on the beneficence of this transit — Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, in Venus, the Lesser Benefic’s domicile — there may be as much of an element of pragmatism to balance out the more luxurious, sensuous and pleasure-loving side of this Venusian temple.

But Jupiter can also bring positive benefits to our lives, asking us to grow, expand our consciousness, develop and partake of various fortuitous and synchronous blessings that Jupiter will invariably bring at different junctures within its year-long jaunt through the sign of the bull.

At the same time, let’s not default into thinking that Jupiter only brings beneficence. I’d be remiss if I didn’t caution all of us to temper our expectations.
